Escondido Union High School CalSAFE/Teen Parent Program
"I worked with Peggy as a coach for my students within the Escondido Union High School District CalSAFE/Teen Parent Program. Teen Parents are one of the populations most at risk for dropping out and ending up on welfare… Peggy developed and executed a detailed growth coaching program for my students.
The results from her efforts were amazing for my students. Three students in particular come to mind, who were unmotivated and at-risk for dropping out, as they were greatly impacted by the series. They all wanted to stay at
home and have more babies and survive of welfare. By the end of the course all three had distinct goals, they are currently pursuing post-secondary education to become elementary school teach, Social Worker for high-risk youth and one wants to pursue a career in the medial field. The one whose goal is to become a teach went from draught D’s to straight A’s once she had a concrete goal; truly, exceptional outcome!"
